Tips on well-being for the Next Generation

In our younger days, we used to strictly follow the advice and instructions of elders at home.  That has really helped us this far in maintaining our health.  Our parents, grand parents and great grand parents was more blessed because they had all the natural source of food products which were not contaminated by fertilisers, pollution and  pesticides.

Whatever we eat today are either junk food or has already lost its nutritional value by way of processing.  Our purchasing habit also has changed due to the fast phased life that we live.  We tend to pick up ready to cook and processed food that is available on the shelf. This coupled with the sedantary life style has led to several medical complications like juvenile diabetes, obesity etc.,

On the one side, spending on doctor consultation, medicines, nutritional health drinks, Gym, slimming clinics have increased considerably in the last few decades.  On the other due to the increase in the purchasing power, "Eating out" has become a fashion for all!

We have to act very fast, create awareness among the next gen  and educate them on two aspects.  This is very very important and urgent because life is going to become more and more stressful and competitive for them.

Eating healthy - Intake of Vegetables, fruits, pulses etc
Physical activities in any form - from walking to doing indoor exercises and in park

I will be taking up each one of the topic with detailed analysis and coming out with a doable strategy.

Stay tuned to this page. I invite interested readers to share their views, suggestions also.
